CA Church Website Redesign

ui design | ux design | website layout

While working in-house for CA Church, I spent all of 2023 redesigning their website from the ground up with a lot of collaboration with both internal and external teams.

Their old website was a hodge-podge of outdating branding, incorrect information, clunky navigation, and so many pages hidden within each other that even internal staff often got lost when trying to navigate it.

The goal of this project was to firstly bring in the new branding we had been working with the team at Ryele Studio to create (I lead this liaising and ideating process) and secondly to comb through all the content of the old website and create a new site that was clear, concise, evergreen, and easy to navigate.

Working with various teams

CA Church contains many different ministries under it’s umbrella, all of which have teams of their own, specific target audiences, and different goals for success. I worked with each of these teams to ensure their voices were heard and their communcaiton goals were met with their own pages on the new website.

After creating rough outlines of the website within the Adobe Suite, I created a visual layout in Figma to be shared and collaborated on with the external team at by Crawford who would ultimately code and develop the finished website based on my design and my team’s content.

End result

The new website launched at the beginning of 2024. The internal team were very happy with not only the look of the new site but with the fact that it had been migrated to Squarespace with instructional videos created allowing for each team to be able to make small changes on their own (streamlining their ability to communicate with their individual audiences).

The team at CA Church has been receiving praise and helpful feedback from it’s users since it’s launch and has found interaction with their audience much smoother.
